Making your own Remineralizing Tooth Powder from WELLNESS MAMA:
http://wellnessmama.com/5252/remineralizing-tooth-powder-recipe/

Tooth Powder Ingredients:

Instructions:

Mix the ingredients in a bowl or pint size mason jar and store in a small glass jar with a lid. We actually have a separate small glass jar for each family member since we dip our toothbrushes in it. Mix with a spoon or shake to incorporate ingredients. This recipe makes about 3/4 cup of tooth powder which lasts us for months. You can adjust the recipe up or down (Use teaspoons instead of tablespoons for smaller amounts).
This will last indefinitely on the counter since there are no liquid ingredients and all of the ingredients naturally discourage bacterial growth. You can customize the powder to your taste and all of the herbal ingredients are optional. Bentonite or baking soda would actually work alone or together as a tooth powder, this one just tastes great. You could also add more cloves, mint and cinnamon for an even more concentrated powder. This type of cinnamon has a higher concentration of beneficial oils and tastes sweeter.

How to Use:

Wet the toothbrush (I use a Bass brush from OraWellness since it is super gentle on the gums and cleans better) and dip into the powder. I also add a few drops of OraWellness Brushing Blend. Brush using the Bass Brushing Technique until teeth are clean. Rinse with cool water. Can be used daily (or multiple times daily) and is fine for adults and kids.

Making your own Remineralizing Tooth Paste from WELLNESS MAMA:

SQUEEZABLE  HOMEMADE  REMINERALIZING  TOOTHPASTE

Ingredients:

- 5 Tablespoons Calcium Carbonate Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Xylitol Powder
- 4 Tablespoons Coconut Oil at room temperature
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Soda (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Bentonite Clay
- 3 Tablespoons Distilled Water or slightly more to thin
- 40+ drops of Essential Oils of choice: Peppermint, Cinnamon, Lemon/Lemongrass, Spearmint, Tea Tree, etc., -OR- Brushing Blend (made from Essential Oils)
- Optional: 20-30 drops Trace Minerals

Instructions:

1.) Mix all ingredient except clay in a mini-food processor and mix well to incorporate. Once smooth, slowly add in the Bentonite Clay and mix by hand with a plastic or wood utensil (Bentonite Clay should NOT come in contact with metal!) If you don’t have a food processor, you can use an immersion blender or even a whisk/fork in a bowl. Do not use an air-tight blender like a Magic Bullet as this creates too much pressure.
2.) Store in a small jar or a squeezable tube like this BP Fee GoToob.
3.) Due to the nature of the Coconut Oil, this homemade toothpaste will be thicker when cooler and thinner when heated but should be a squeezable consistency at normal room temperature (70-75 degrees F.) If it is too runny or too thick, try adding more water or calcium to get desired thickness.  Use Essential Oils to taste.
4.) Use as you would regular toothpaste.

Ideas for tooth/gum infections or pain:

SILVER / OREGANO

- Pure Essential Oil of Oregano
- Colloidal Silver (make sure that it does NOT "foam" when shaken!! "Foaming" means it contains protein, which means it does not provide any antibacterial benefits, and it turns the skin blue over a period of time.)
-Sea Salt
- Very Warm water (as warm as you can handle it)

1. Put several drops of oil of oregano under the tongue. Hold for a few minutes then swish with lots of colloidal silver. Spit out.
Can be done every 2-4 hours, and as frequently as once every hour.

2. Swallow additional .5-2 oz colloidal silver - up to 8 oz per day

3. Gently rub some colloidal silver on the gum around the tooth.

4. After a few minutes, rub some Oregano Oil on the gum around the tooth.

5. Wait 1-4 hours, then swish vigorously with warm (sea) salt water for a 2-3 minutes.

6. Gently rub some Oregano Oil on the gum around the tooth.

7. Wait 1-4 hours and repeat from number 1.

GARLIC / SEA SALT

An old Indian remedy

- 2 fresh garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt (sea salt preferably)
- a few drops of virgin, cold-pressed olive oil (if needed)

* add ingredients together and mash them into a paste.
* apply paste to affected tooth and gum surrounding it and hold for 30 min.

Pain should be subside with to continued use. You can do this up to four times a day. If the pain isn't gone in about a week, you should probably see your dentist then, because something deeper or more serious could be going on.
